Comic Book Club
The LCMS Comic Book Club aims to encourage students to read, improve critical thinking, and provide accountability for students in reading and comprehension. The comic book club committee wants to build and strengthen literacy skills for all students who join the club. Comics and graphic novels have increased in popularity, sparking various readers' interest at different levels. The diversity offered through comic books exposes readers to a new perspective and takes hold of multiple adventures. It also presents a different style of formatting and writing. The addition of the comic book club is a fantastic tool for making lifelong readers, engaging reluctant readers, and assisting struggling readers.

THE LETTERS “FFA” STAND FOR FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA. THESE LETTERS ARE A PART OF OUR HISTORY AND OUR HERITAGE THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE. BUT FFA IS NOT JUST FOR STUDENTS WHO WANT TO BE PRODUCTION FARMERS; FFA ALSO WELCOMES MEMBERS WHO ASPIRE TO CAREERS AS TEACHERS, DOCTORS, SCIENTISTS, BUSINESS OWNERS AND MORE.
Today, the National FFA Organization remains committed to the individual student, providing a path to achievement in premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
